MINING

Currently, hydrocarbons found on most mining sites end up in the water and land. Ergofito can remove the hydrocarbons in water, soil and sand. With our treatment, hydrocarbons rise to the top of the water and are skimmed off. The minerals drop into the soil, allowing operations to mine further. There is no harm to the minerals or metals and no side effects. The soil, sand, and oil may have higher resell value in certain cases.

The process eliminates a portion of the need for expensive relocation, excavation and disposal of waste elements. Also, it removes the possibility of underground water contamination. Mining operations fall well below EPA limits with Ergofito. Ergofito is 100% natural and works with Mother Nature.

Ergofito Aqua is an Ergofito product that is simple yet highly effective at dealing with contaminated oil spills and/or soils. After application, the bacteria immediately starts to attack the hydrocarbons by breaking down the long carbon chains in the hydrocarbon. It then converts into humus thereby eliminating the need for costly excavation, relocation, and disposal of waste elements. After the conversion process is finished, the hydrocarbon waste is converted into organic fertilizer. This organic fertilizer is rich in minerals and nutrients, supporting new plant growth and animal life.

GREASE TRAPS

Ergofito 10-10-5 is an Ergofito product that can prevent fats, oil, and grease (FOG) from entering the water waste management system and eventually the ocean. Grease traps, also known as grease interceptors are currently used as our first line of defense. When FOG from restaurants, food chains, and residential kitchen enters the wastewater, its effect is similar to an oil spill. Waste water management has difficulty controlling the influx of FOG without grease traps. Grease traps, usually made of fiberglass, concrete, or hard plastic are buried underground or placed inside commercial kitchens. They are critical when it comes to reducing our environmental impact.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT

A Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) is expected to be odor free and produce clean water. However, the complexity of the inflow mix is rarely evaluated. Often the general public is under the impression that any effluent (like oil, acids etc) can be disposed of by simply flushing it into the sewage system.

As our diets and cleaning products have changed over the years the existing mix of bacteria that operates in the aerator and in the clarifier stage can seldom cope with the inflow. Grease, oils and fats often emulsify and form a crust above the water level which renders the waste water treatment process ineffective. Ergofito group of natural bacteria is especially formulated for such situations.

MOSQUITOS

Ergo Mozzi-Ology is an Ergofito product consisting of a group of completely natural bacteria that safely controls mosquito growth. After Ergo Mozzi-Ology is released into the environment, it searches for food, competing directly with the nutrients required by larvae for its survival. It will create a “no go” area for mosquitoes to rest or lay eggs once it is sprayed. The natural development of the mosquito larvae is constrained. MozzyOlogy contains microelements, amino acids, micro-organisms, mineral salts, and humic acids, which feed any plant while starving the mosquito larvae. This is due to the enzymatic bacterial action on the larvae’s food.

After the war with Iraq we have been been testing over 100 bio-remediation solutions to clean up the hydrocarbon contaminated soil. We had to bring the levels under 10,000 PPM. None of the products we tested didn't even remotely come close to the UN mandated number except "Ergofito". We wanted to enhance the water quality of Kuwait Bay which was polluted by illegal direct sewage discharge through the storm water
network power plant discharge. Oil spills from port operation or ship activity and dumping of old ships. Kuwait's marine environment experienced adverse incidents on a regional and local scale threatening the quality of water and the ecosystem in general. We decided to try using Bio-Product (Ergofito) ErgoFito MicroMix Aqua was applied to remediate the bay which proved highly effective, the sea floor can be fully restored by regular application of ErgoFito applications.

Kuwait

The in-situ treatment with Ergofito MicroMix Aqua for chloride and hydrocarbon contamination reduction levels resulted in achieving pit closure in 3 weeks instead of 6-12 months. Final chloride level of 10,000ppm was achieved and hydrocarbon TPH reduction to 1,660ppm for a chloride reduction of 95% and TPH reduction of 98% in the three week window.

In late spring 2012, Mrs. Gabriella Bergamoini the apple farm owner, applied Ergofito to the apple orchards. Until then the production was at a steady 40 tons per hectare. The usual fertilisation was reduced by 30% and replaced by Ergofito. The applications made during the
suitable phenological period. The 2013 crop yielded 60 tons per hectare and has produced 77,5 tons per hectare in 2014.
